Roots Rise Family Farm
A quirky, quaint property that was easy to find. We were greeted by the dogs who periodically came by to say hi and brought their ball. Didn’t really interact with the host except that I messaged asking if they might have some fire wood… a few minutes later a couple cute young boys showed up pulling their radio flyer loaded with wood.
We stayed in the pines down below, great spot and easy to get to in our class C van.

Lovely family site 🩷
We loved our time and really enjoyed all the parts of this site! Our kids loved the kids area and we even got in a game of cornhole. There were lots of animals to enjoy and room to roam and play.
There was some road activity next to us, so it didn’t feel remote/quiet, but it didn’t bother us. Do keep in mind the rooster and turkeys will let you know it’s morning around 4am ;)

A nice enough spot, if there were about half as many site offered. When they say get there early if you want a flat/nice spot, they mean it. We got there at check- in on the day of our reservation and the only spots available were wide out in the open, without flat spots for tents. Others who pulled in later, up until 9:30pm had even fewer options. There was also often a wait for the one portapotty.
The farm critters were delightful, polite, and chill. We couldn’t hear the rooster noise much over the neighbor’s dog who was barking from approximately 2-5am… sound from other sites carried fairly loudly as well.
The view was fantastic, folks friendly, and we loved the sunshine we got! The kids really enjoyed the play structures, hammocks, and open space, it was very friendly and inviting. Would consider going back again if I knew there would only be 3-4 other groups there.

Nice Weekend
We had a nice stay over Memorial Day. Close to Hood River and White Salmon if you want coffee shops and restaurants, which we did one day. We headed towards trout lake for some hiking another. We bought eggs from the host to cook while we were there and some to take home. Casual, laid back vibe overall.

Great place to stay.
Had a great stay here. We parked our camper in a lovely meadow. Friendly and helpful hosts, 2 fun dogs, 1 crazy cat and some well behaved goats made it a very fun stay. The property is gorgeous. Highly recommended.
